Eric has worked at Grey, Chiat, Wieden, Goodby and Leo on clients ranging from Canon, Mean Stinks, Starbucks, Levi's, Adidas, Microsoft, Fox Sports, Playstation, Pepsi and Nike - on everything from broadcast to directing national campaigns to a viral film series to digital to interactive platforms that broke world records to streaming 40 thousand students live on youtube to social and a few art shows squeezed somewhere in between.
Both of Eric's interactive projects for Canon cameras earned Cannes Gold Lions. Canon's 'Story Beyond The Still' is a crowd-sourced film contest that inspired photographers to become film directors. The final film was premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Canon's 'Project Imagin8ion' challenged photographers to submit user-generated photography that would inspire a Hollywood film by Oscar-winning director Ron Howard.
As a filmmaker, Eric wrote and directed Cutwater's viral film 'Moonwalker' which has over 1,200,000 hits on YouTube. His Starbucks 'Red Cup' online film series for Creature/Seattle launched the iconic seasonal cup.
Eric's work for Fox Sports includes MLB's 'Beware Of Things Made In October' which was nominated for an Emmy, and his NHL campaign 'The More Hockey You Watch, The Tougher You Get' earning One Show gold. Eric judged the 2012 One Show and received the 2013 Cannes Chimera award for his HumanKind Stock Ticker (HmKd) idea for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Eric is currently a Creative Director at R/GA. When he's not focused on work, he plays in the band 'The Skulls' with his 9 year old son Kaden. Their first album is set to release somewhere around 2025.
